Is there a snack bar or restaurant at Camping La Romiguière ?
We have a snack bar and a bar, open in July and August. We can also privatize it for groups in low season
Aveyron is a very huge territory and the campsite is very isolated, so where do I go to go shopping?
On the campsite, you will find a service of food with breads, pastries (High season) as well as the products of first necessity.A 10 min by car, in Saint-Amans-des-Cots, you will find a SPAR, a bakery , a butcher as well as various businesses.There are also supermarkets in Laguiole or Espalion
For personal reasons, I must change my booking dates. How to do ?
According to our general booking conditions, a modification is equivalent to a cancellation followed by a new reservation. However, we certainly have a simpler and more advantageous solution to offer you. Contact us quickly!
I would like to book my holidays for 2024 in Aveyron. Can I already make my reservation?
Reservations for 2024 at Camping La Romiguière will be open in October 2023.
I would like to avoid traffic jams and I would like to book from Sunday to Sunday, is it possible?
Yes, we can come and go every day of the week, even in high season.You can book the number of days that suits you from 2 or 3 nights (depending on the period). Please refer to "short stay" packages.
I'm likely to arrive very late, and certainly after the reception closes, how can we do?
Contact us by telephone to give us your approximate time of arrival. We will indicate you the procedure to follow to allow you to reach your location or your renting. However, in order to keep the campsite quiet, no installation of caravan, tent or motorhome is not possible after 21h
I would like to cook with electric griddle, is it possible?
No, our electrical installation is checked every year by an approved control company, but electric planchas and ovens are very powerful appliances and you may have a break
I would like to cook on the barbecue, is it possible?
Yes, gas and charcoal barbecues are allowed, electric barbecues are forbidden, fires on the floor are obviously forbidden.
Is it possible to fish in the lake of Maury in Aveyron?
Yes, fishing is allowed in the lake, this second class lake is well known, and of course you must be in possession of the local fishing license for the current year and check for temporary reserve areas.
Is it allowed to swim in the lake of Maury in Aveyron?
The lake is public and swimming is therefore possible by respecting the conditions of the municipal decree displayed at the entrance to the beach. A lifeguard can be organized during the summer by the municipality, depending on the availability of a qualified lifeguard.
I visit Aveyron and I come to the campsite without a reservation (for a tent pitch), I do not know exactly how long I want to stay in. When should I pay?
In this case, upon your arrival, we will ask you to pay the minimum number of nights you plan to stay, then you can always extend provided your location is available of course!
I made a reservation and paid a deposit. Should we send the balance?
You will pay the balance when you arrive. Please note that most of our colleagues ask you to pay 30 days before your arrival, not at home!
I fear the heat in summer. Are the pitches shaded ?
The campsite as a whole is fairly well planted. You will therefore have shade at your location. But of course, as the sun turns, at certain times you will have shade, and at other times, the sun. Remember to take a parasol or a shade veil.
I want to connect my caravan or my motorhome to the area. Is there a catch close to the location?
Yes, there are plugs at each location. All slots are equipped with a standard electrical outlet. You have 10 amperes. It is included in the basic package (from 15€25 / night)
I like to follow my favorite series on vacation I would like to have TV in the mobile home
We don't receive the TNT, because the camping is very isolated. Take advantage of it to do a cure "without TV" and watch the spectacle of the wild nature around the campsite.
We are 2 adults and 4 children, including a 3 month old baby. Can I rent a Family Mobile-home
Sorry but our "Family Mobil-home" can only accommodate a maximum of 5 people. A baby is a whole person.
I would like to visit Aubrac in Aveyron, Laguiole and the Lot valley. Is there a campervan area ?
Yes, of course, campervans are welcome in our campsite. all informations are here
I have a electric wire with big blue european plugs. Can I use the electricity ?
The campsite is equipped with french "normal" plugs. Then you need an adapter.
I absolutely need to check the internet during my stay. Do you have a WIFI access point?
Yes, there is free Wifi access. You can access our WIFI network with your own computer, tablet or laptop on almost the entire campsite. Wi-Fi access is free. Please note that our internet access is very slow, because it is shared by all residents of the campsite, but you will certainly be able to read your e-mails and view web pages. If you need reliable and fast access, plan to bring your own 4G modem (the 4G SFR and Bouygues goes very well here)
I have to be reachable on my cell. Can I connect to a cellphone network ?
Bouygues and SFR go very well, for Orange or Free, we have to look for the perfect place (sometimes within a meter). We also receive 4G (Bouygues and SFR), so you only need to use your mobile as a hotspot wifi for internet, broadband, on your tablet or laptop
Can we connect a laptop or a fridge in the bungalows ?
The bungalows are all equipped with electricity. You have light, electrical outlets, a microwave, a fridge ... it's Camping indeed, but high confort !
Are the canvas bungalows equipped with shower and toilets? ?
Canvas bungalows are tents designed to find the camping spirit, but without the need to install your own equipment. There is no bathroom and you will use the sanitary facilities of the campsite
We like to visit historic sites. Are there any around La Romiguière campsite ?
Yes, there are many historic places in Aveyron. For example, the Castle of Vallon, the medieval villages like Estaing or Saint-Comes d'Olt, Castle of Thénières, Castle of Calmont d'Olt... and many more...
Are there any attractions to keep my children busy during the holidays ?
In Aveyron, all the surrounding villages offer many attractions all year round: tourist, sports, fun activities ... you will have the choice. We have many leaflets at the reception of the campsite and we will be able to advise you according to your interests.
